Who are CloudNC?
CloudNC's mission is to make single-click manufacture a reality.
We build software that automates control of CNC machines - metal cutting robots that make >$1Trn of components every year, for anything from aircraft to iPhones to cars.
Worldwide over 100 million hours are spent painstakingly programming these incredible machines by hand every year, and we believe this is a colossal waste of human time and talent in an industry already facing an existential skills crisis. Our software, CAM Assist, brings one-click automation to CNC machining.
Our world-class team, with tier 1 financial backers including Atomico, Autodesk and Lockheed Martin, combines expertise in computer science and physical manufacturing, from our locations in London and Chelmsford.
We are scaling from Series B to C at pace and are fully funded for this growth.
Primary Purpose of the Role: develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients by delivering an exceptional customer experience. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the profitable & successful delivery of orders
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Adopting a portfolio management approach to high-spending accounts, reviewing performance on a quarterly and annual basis, formulating relationship plans to grow SoW and enhance the customer experience
- Striving to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for existing accounts
- Processing customers enquiries, quotes and orders.
- Working with planning to achieve lead times and maintain OTIF
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of CloudNC's product suite & systems
- Manage customer expectations whilst working internally to ensure we capitalise on opportunities
- Uses data to aid in commercial decisions and ongoing customer growth
- Provides support to customers on NPI & DFM by utilising the expertise within CloudNC
- Ensure CRM is always updated to ensure that wider teams have the necessary information to fulfil customer requirements
Education / Qualifications / Training
- Project management qualification
- GCSE Maths & English Grade 5 minimum
Specific Experience:
- Track record of success within an Account Management role with a focus on revenue, growth, and customer retention, ideally working within a manufacturing environment
- Have strong administrative experience with a high attention to detail and level of accuracy
- Familiar with ERP systems
- Experience in manufacturing environment
Abilities Skills and Knowledge:
- A confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner
- Exceptional commercial acumen
- Business-level language skills and ability to converse confidently via telephone, face to face, and via email
- Strong negotiation skills, responsive and creative in delivery
- Project Management Skills
- Works well under pressure, able to make good judgments and decisions, and meet conflicting deadlines
- IT skills Microsoft and/or G-suite packages
