Project Manager - What will you be doing?

As a vital member of the team at BCB Group, your role as a Project Manager is pivotal to our ongoing growth and success.

As Project Manager, you'll craft engaging weekly reports that offer our Senior Leadership Team, including our ExCo, invaluable insights into project progress and potential hurdles. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders on project roadmaps that not only outline timelines and milestones but also align with the delivery of our company-wide objectives and key performance indicators.

Working closely with teams across BCB, you'll help shape project scopes, guide discussions with project sponsors and drive delivery, all while building rapport, maintaining trust and supporting strong collaboration across the Group.

Your knack for managing risks and dependencies will be essential as you support our teams through every stage of the project lifecycle. With your expertise, utilising tools and methodologies, you'll lead projects from conception to completion, holding owners accountable for delivery and striving to meet deadlines.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you'll serve as a trusted advisor to our Senior Leadership Team, offering valuable insights, helping to resolve any challenges that arise and playing a key role in the delivery of BCB’s goals.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Create project roadmaps with agreed timelines, milestones and dependency maps
• Drive projects inline with organisation wide OKRs and KPIs
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and other blockers
• Help define project scope, goals and deliverables working closely with cross-functional teams
• Create weekly management reports on projects & initiatives across multiple functions, working closely with Senior Leadership and C-Level Executives to raise risks, issues, dependencies and blockers
• Lead discussions with project sponsors and teams and guide them through decision making process
• Support and direct project teams and other stakeholders as required
• Lead end to end delivery of projects using the right tools, forums and methodologies
• Manage project resources including people, budget, tools etc
• Build and maintain strong and trustworthy relationships with other stakeholders
• Apply a structural and logical approach to solve complex problems and build solutions fit for purpose
• Working with external partners including third party suppliers, clients or other partners
• Proactively resolve conflicts and disputes that may arise among Senior Leadership
• Act as a trusted Advisor to SLT and C-Level Executives

• Experience with project teams and leading delivery from concept, implementation and Go-Live
• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and functional teams from Product, Technology, Legal, Operations, Compliance and others
• Experience navigating conflicting priorities across the organisation
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create trustworthy relationships with diverse stakeholders from junior to senior management
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail, willing to deep dive into concepts to understand the scope of work and their complexity whilst maintaining focus on the high level objectives and goals of the organisation
• Experience with project management principles, agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
• Strong work ethic, self starter who is creative with a can-do attitude
• Commercially-focused, entrepreneurial and proactive with personal initiative and drive to improve
• Attitude of continual learning and assessing self-performance
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Flexibility and agility
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Project Management, Delivery, Consulting or similar
• Experience in other FinTech, Crypto or Startups is a plus
• Experience with product development frameworks and technology concepts is also a plus
