We’re looking for a highly analytical and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead our demand and supply planning. This role is central to keeping our operations running smoothly, turning forecasts into clear supply plans, securing product availability, and ensuring reliable inbound and fulfillment execution.

You’ll work closely with manufacturing partners in Asia and logistics partners in the US to make sure Birdbuddy products are delivered efficiently and on time. Sitting at the intersection of planning and execution, you’ll balance demand fluctuations, long component lead times, supplier constraints, and logistics realities to protect both revenue and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the S&OP process, aligning demand, inventory strategy, and production capacity.
• Translate supply plans into clear inbound shipment schedules from manufacturers to distribution centers.
• Work closely with EMS/CM partners to manage long lead times, anticipate component shortages, and drive mitigation plans.
• Identify potential supply gaps early (shortages, excess inventory, or capacity constraints) and take proactive action.
• Improve planning processes and support the continued development of our ERP system.
• Prepare the supply chain for significant volume growth and scaling.
• Oversee global logistics operations, including contract manufacturers, freight forwarders, 3PL partners, and distribution centers.
• Optimize freight modes, lead times, shipment consolidation, and inventory allocation to balance cost and service levels.
• Monitor and improve 3PL performance (inventory accuracy, OTIF, SLA adherence, pick-pack performance).
• Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks across supply, capacity, and demand volatility.
• Lead and develop a team, setting clear priorities and supporting their growth.
• Be a core contributor in the supply chain management team.
  

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, with strong exposure to demand and supply planning (not purely logistics-focused).
• Experience working with outsourced manufacturing and managing supplier relationships onsite in Asia and the U.S.
• Proven ability to anticipate and resolve component shortages together with EMS/CM partners, including understanding cost impacts (PPV).
• Hands-on experience running S&OP and MRP processes within an ERP environment.
• Solid understanding of international logistics, freight forwarding, and 3PL operations.
• Strong analytical mindset and the ability to turn data into clear supply and planning decisions.
• Hands-on, execution-driven approach with the ability to operate in fast-growing and sometimes ambiguous environments.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, comfortable collaborating with planning, sales, finance, and operations teams.
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal are a must.
