Summary
We're looking for a Business Analyst who is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights. In this role, you'll help build the analytical foundation that powers decision-making across the company, from customer engagement and product usage to subscriber conversion and retention.
You'll work closely with product, growth, customer success, and leadership teams to uncover opportunities, answer key business questions, and ensure everyone has access to reliable, meaningful data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain data frameworks that enable quick, reliable reporting and self-serve insights across the organization.
- Build reusable analytical models and tools (e.g. cohort frameworks, conversion models) to enable fast, flexible decision-making.
- Design and maintain reports and dashboards covering customer engagement and product analytics, with emphasis on event tracking and behavioral patterns.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses that support key business questions, especially around subscriber conversion, retention, and feature usage.
- Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across tools and databases.
- Help scale our analytics foundation: improving structure, expanding coverage, and keeping documentation up to date.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, product analyst, or data analyst role, ideally in a consumer tech or SaaS environment.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work with complex datasets.
- Strong skills in Sheets/Excel and BI tools.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL; experience with event-based product analytics tools (e.g. PostHog, Mixpanel, or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to create, manage and automate custom dashboards and reporting pipelines.
- A good communicator who can translate business requirements into analytical outputs and relay findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Colab or Python for data pipeline and analysis work.
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience with subscription or RevenueCat-based data models is a plus.
- Background in consumer apps or connected hardware products is a plus.
