The Role
As Director of Clinical, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our clinical strategy, ensuring the successful translation of our neuromonitoring technology from research to real-world clinical applications. You will lead clinical development efforts, oversee regulatory pathways, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive clinical adoption and impact. This is a hands-on position with full accountability for the execution of CoMind’s clinical strategy. Please note that this role will require up to 40% travel.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the clinical strategy for CoMind’s neuromonitoring technology in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
Develop and lead clinical trial strategies from first human use through post-market studies, oversee global clinical operations (in-house and outsourced), and manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful execution
Lead, and manage the clinical team at CoMind, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the successful delivery of clinical initiatives aligned with the company’s mission and strategic goals
Support interactions with regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with relevant clinical and ethical guidelines (e.g., FDA, MHRA, EMA)
Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and research institutions
Provide clinical expertise to support product development, guiding the integration of clinical insights into technology design and refinement
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, R&D and commercial teams to ensure clinical validation and market readiness

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in neuroscience, neuromonitoring, and clinical research to drive innovation and best practices.
Skills & Experience:
Extensive and recent hands-on experience in clinical research and trials for medical devices, preferably with experience of critical care, monitoring or neuro devices
Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical development pathways for medical technologies (e.g., FDA 510(k), CE Mark, IDE submissions)
Proven ability to lead clinical programs from concept to market, including study design, execution, and regulatory approvals.
Strong network of clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals in the neuroscience field is highly desirable
Highly skilled at translating strategic and technical content into clear roadmaps that drive collaboration across diverse functions
