Overview:

Are you a People and Talent professional with a passion for cultivating positive workplace cultures and driving organisational success? Join our team as a People & Talent Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company!

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People and Talent Manager to join our growing team. As a strategic and operational partner to both employees and leadership, you will play a key role in talent acquisition, driving the development and implementation of people initiatives that align with the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Talent acquisition and management, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

About the role

People are the core to our success at Flexciton and we are looking for a People & Talent Manager to help us shape the company via successful people practices, authentic company culture, and best HR practices.

You will be a trusted partner to the Director of Operations in implementing the right people strategy aligned with the business objectives

Alongside, our Director of Operations, you will take on responsibilities for all things people and culture, designing and executing people strategies, as well as developing and nurturing our culture. You will also work closely with:

  • Our small-knit People Operations team to support them on key people and talent agenda.

  • Be a key partner to all our managers.

Responsibilities include:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies based on skill-based hiring.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding.

  • Build hiring pipelines, and get creative about how we source candidates in a very competitive market. This includes optimising the candidate's experience

  • Create materials to help our outreach and sourcing efforts, ensuring we successfully project our mission, values, and culture into the talent marketplace.

Company Culture and Values:

  • Champion and promote the company's core values and cultural principles.

  • Develop and implement initiatives that reinforce a positive, inclusive, and diverse work environment.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR-related matters.

  • Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.

Performance Management:

  • Support the development and implementation of performance management processes.

  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees to enhance individual and team performance.

Learning and Development:

  • Identify training needs and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and implement learning programs.

  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations.

  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed.

Employee Engagement:

  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to assess the employee experience.

  • Perform salary and rewards benchmarking to ensure equitable compensation for all employees.

Social Responsibility:

  • Spearhead company’s social responsibility initiatives, fostering community engagement.

  • Collaborate with our office manager and teams to organise and participate in social events and activities.

About you

We are seeking an individual who demonstrates a strong ability to embrace and thrive in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate is adept at seamlessly adapting to new changes, showcasing a flexible and agile mindset.

The experience we are looking for:

  • The ideal person would be who has been in a standalone role or part of a very small team with prior experience in tech recruitment and HR responsibilities within a startup environment.

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Please note, if you only have experience in tech recruitment, unfortunately, this will not be the right fit for us.

Additional Information:

We are a hybrid-based company. Our office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

Interview Process;

Stage 1 - Recruiter Screen with Talent Partner (30~45 mins)

Stage 2 - Team fit interview (30~45 mins)

Stage 3 - Take-home task (Demonstrating a previous People project implementation)

Stage 4 - Continuation of take-home task and working session with Director of Operations (1.5 hours)

Stage 5 - Final stage interview with SLT (Co-Founders) - Values Interview (1.5 hours)
