About The Role
The Senior Accountant sits within our Finance team and reports directly to the Vice President of Accounting. The Finance Team is a dedicated group focused on financial strategy, analysis, and compliance to drive the company's success. Our mission is to provide comprehensive financial guidance and support across all facets of the organization.
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial statements, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare and review journal entries as part of the month end close process.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely postings of all financial transactions.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis and report on financial performance against budgets.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Assist in special projects and financial analyses as needed.
What We Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in corporate or public accounting within the professional services or SaaS sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (Netsuite preferred),Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Workplace (Sheets, Doc, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation:
- Base: $60,000
- Base + Bonus Target: $70,000
- This role is eligible to participate in Invisible’s equity plan.
The amount listed above is the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
