Your Role

As a DAO Program Manager, you will be responsible for successfully launching and supporting various DAOs within the BIO ecosystem. This role will require you to manage multiple projects across different departments and time zones while ensuring smooth communication and collaboration among all involved stakeholders. You will play a critical role in driving the execution of DAO-related initiatives, tracking progress, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. You will also help unblock challenges and provide hands-on support when necessary, ensuring the DAOs in our ecosystem are aligned with strategic goals and operational requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing DAO Progress:

  Oversee and track the progress of DAOs in the ecosystem using established workflows, checklists, and project management tools to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.

• Cross-Team Coordination:

  Collaborate with team members from the Science and Program teams to align efforts, resources, and priorities, ensuring smooth execution of DAO projects across departments.

• Unblocking DAO Progress:

  Identify bottlenecks and proactively support DAO teams by applying background knowledge of DAO building and operational expertise to remove obstacles and keep projects on track.

• Maintaining Documentation:

  Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all DAO processes, statuses, and outcomes, facilitating transparency and alignment across teams.

• Visibility & Communication:

  Foster high visibility of DAO progress by ensuring regular, clear, and concise communication with all relevant teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

• KPI Management:

  Monitor and update relevant program-related KPIs regularly, ensuring that progress aligns with goals and deliverables.

• Stakeholder Support:

  Respond to requests from internal and external stakeholders, providing them with the necessary documentation and information to support DAO initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Core Priorities for This Position

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in operations, program management, or similar roles, ideally within a web3 or decentralized organization.

• Organization & Detail Orientation: Exceptional ability to organize, track progress, and pay attention to detail in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.

• Flexible & Adaptable: Ability to manage projects across various time zones, adjusting schedules and priorities as needed to meet global demands.

• Proven Project Management Skills: A demonstrated track record of managing complex projects and workflows, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.

• Support for Executives: Experience working with and supporting executive-level teams, aligning operational tasks with strategic goals.

• Time Zone Flexibility: Comfortable working with a remote team across multiple time zones, ensuring consistent communication and project flow.

Key Relationship Skills

• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into actionable steps for diverse audiences.

• Remote Team Collaboration: Proficient in using productivity and communication tools (Slack, Notion, Asana, etc.) to work efficiently within a distributed team.

Technical Knowledge

• CRM & Documentation Management: Experience using CRM systems and tools for managing documentation and project workflows.

• Web3 & DeSci Ecosystem: Interest or knowledge in web3, Science, and the Decentralized Science (DeSci) ecosystem, including its unique challenges and opportunities.

• Digital Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and platforms that support efficient cross-functional teamwork in a decentralized setting (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Trello, GitHub, etc.).
