Your Role

As a Full Stack Web3 Application Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge Web3 applications that provide seamless user experiences while integrating blockchain technologies. You will work on building intuitive front-end interfaces, robust back-end systems, and scalable Web3 integrations, with a focus on smart contract integrations from EVM-compatible chains and Solana. Your work will directly contribute to shaping the future of decentralized science and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop Front-End Applications:

  Build a production-ready, responsive front-end using Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS that meets all design and functional requirements within 3 months.

• Integrate Blockchain Functionality:

  Integrate blockchain features with front-end applications using libraries like ethers.js, wagmi, and viem, enabling seamless Web3 interactions, with deployment-ready functionality within the first quarter.

• Smart Contract Integrations:

  Deliver end-to-end smart contract integrations from EVM-compatible chains and Solana, allowing user-friendly interactions through the front-end for at least two key features or use cases within 6 months.

• Headless CMS Implementation:

  Implement and maintain a headless CMS (e.g., Strapi) to enable dynamic content management and integrate it with the front-end by the end of the first quarter.

• Performance Optimization:

  Optimize web3 application performance, reducing load times and ensuring smooth user experiences while maintaining blockchain functionalities. Achieve a page speed score of 90+ within 6 months.

• Contribute to Architecture:

  Help shape architectural decisions to ensure scalable, maintainable codebases, solving complex engineering challenges along the way.

• Issue Resolution & Uptime Management:

  Proactively identify and resolve issues related to Web3 functionalities, ensuring 99% uptime and minimal bug occurrences in production.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven Experience:

  Strong experience in building and deploying web3 applications with smart contract integrations from EVM-compatible chains and Solana.

• Technical Expertise:

  Proficient in Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, ethers.js, wagmi, viem, and blockchain fundamentals.

• CMS Knowledge:

  Hands-on experience implementing solutions with headless CMS tools like Strapi for dynamic content management.

• Problem-Solving & Agency:

  A self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies while independently identifying and solving challenges.

• Collaboration Skills:

  Strong team player with experience working alongside designers, product managers, and blockchain engineers in a cross-functional environment.

• Clear Communication:

  Ability to clearly communicate ideas, challenges, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Blockchain Fundamentals:

  In-depth knowledge of blockchain engineering concepts such as transactions, gas fees, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and Solana-specific elements.

• Performance Optimization:

  Expertise in optimizing web applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
