Your Role

As a Social Media Manager at Molecule, your mission is to champion the voice of the company across multiple social media channels and craft narratives that resonate deeply with both crypto and scientific audiences. You will be responsible for building a strong and engaging online presence that amplifies Molecule’s mission, creates emotional connections with followers, and educates the community about our groundbreaking work in decentralized science (DeSci). This is a strategic, creative, and community-focused role where you’ll work across platforms to deliver content that drives awareness, fosters engagement, and accelerates the adoption of Molecule’s vision.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing & Executing Marketing Strategies:

  Design and execute a dynamic marketing strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and adoption of Molecule’s DeSci vision across all social media platforms.

• Crafting Compelling Content:

  Produce high-quality content for Twitter, Farcaster, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other key channels, ensuring the content resonates with both crypto and scientific communities. This includes written posts, visual content, newsletters, and blog entries.

• Translating Complex Concepts:

  Break down complex scientific and crypto concepts into accessible, engaging stories that educate, inform, and captivate both niche and broad audiences.

• Amplifying Community Voice:

  Foster a strong dialogue with our community by engaging with researchers, builders, and investors. Actively respond to comments, run AMAs, and encourage the exchange of ideas.

• Data-Driven Insights:

  Utilize analytics tools to measure the impact of social media activities, refine messaging, and optimize campaigns for maximum engagement and impact.

• Staying Ahead of Trends:

  Quickly adapt to emerging trends in the DeSci, Web3, and crypto spaces. Innovate content strategies and stay on top of evolving social media tools, platforms, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Core Priorities for This Position

• Proven Social Media & Community Building Experience: Demonstrated success in social media management and community engagement, particularly within Web3, DeFi, or crypto spaces. Expertise in growing audiences and fostering meaningful interactions across platforms like Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Farcaster, and YouTube.

• Strategic & Creative Thinker: Ability to develop long-term social media strategies aligned with Molecule’s goals, while creating compelling content that educates, engages, and resonates with both crypto and scientific audiences. Demonstrates creativity and high standards for quality, accuracy, and emotional connection.

• Analytical & Data-Driven: Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and optimize strategies for higher engagement and content virality. Uses insights to adjust tactics and deliver measurable results.

• Execution Excellence & Resourcefulness: Proven track record of launching high-impact campaigns (e.g., viral threads, product launches, community challenges), and the ability to tap into existing networks and build strategic partnerships to amplify content and drive growth.

Technical Knowledge

• Social Media & Content Tools: Proficiency in using social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Farcaster, TikTok, YouTube) and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).

• Analytics & Optimization: Strong understanding of social media analytics and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.), with the ability to optimize content strategies based on data insights.

• Crypto & DeSci Knowledge: Familiarity with web3, crypto, and the Decentralized Science ecosystem is a plus. Ability to adapt technical topics for a general audience.

• Marketing Automation Tools: Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Substack, etc.) for email campaigns and content distribution.
