Who is Smart Transactions?

Smart Transactions (stxn.io) puts the power of smart contracts in individual transactions by extending the semantics of transactions. Transactions are now context aware, interacting with each other, updating in real time leveraging onchain and offchain data. Leveraging this, we are building the world’s first platform for hybrid apps: apps that come with the ease of web apps powered by the tokenomics of crypto.

Founded by Vlad Zamfir (Ethereum founding architect of the proof of stake transition) & Anuj Das Gupta (ex-CTO at Ubisoft, NASDAQ), STXN has been stealth building for years. We raised our pre-seed round in the summer of 2023 and are launching our MVP in Q2 2024.

In summer 2024, we announced a research partnership with Consensys to standardize and popularize this new transaction paradigm. With the recent launch of the world's first smart testnet, STXN is uniquely positioned for explosive growth.

This role is full-time. Job is remote but your working hours have to align with either IST or CEST.

What will you be doing?

Fostering a deep/diverse sense of community among users, devs, fans, and the crypto curious.

• Networking: Community-building strategies via various social media channels and irl events to drive engagement and foster a sense of community among our users.

• Content: Create tutorials, videos, do podcast appearances, and video essays for social media

• Distribution: Coordinate with PR partners and outlets.

• Discord: Manage our discord and highlight technical questions/ issues to our devrel team

• Feedback: Provide community feedback to stxn engineers to help design our dev tooling

• QA: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) processes to ensure product functionality meets customer needs and expectations.

• Bridge: Facilitate collaboration between solvers and the STXN engineers.

• Release: Shape product launches in tandem with broader community goals.

• Pulse: Keep tabs on the crypto landscape, such as making weekly lists of the most important memes of the week

What do you need to possess?

Both technical (dev relations) and non-technical skills (evangelizing our vision)

• You love meeting new connections, a deeply curious individual about new ideas, dare to dream big

• 3+ years of relevant experience (in a developer relations and/ or community manager role)

• Background in computer science, or experience with programming languages (JavaScript, Solidity, Go, Rust)

• Significant following on social media

• Well versed in the meme culture of crypto, degen, web3

• Blog with depth articles on crypto

• Communicate with brevity and brilliance

• Organize and facilitate community events.
