The FP&A Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a varied and challenging environment where no two days are the same. Duties
- Design, develop and maintain complex financial models
- Assist FP&A Managers / Finance Business Partners in the preparation of annual budgets, the medium term planning cycle and the reporting of monthly KPIs
- Work closely with each function to provide clear and concise data-driven insights and translate strategic objectives into projected financial impact
- Design and develop performance reporting and analytics (group and by region)
- Support the CFO and Head of Investor Relations with clear and concise narratives on financial results and variances to budget
- Prepare business cases to support strategic projects and decisions
- Ad hoc analysis and project work to support FP&A transformation efforts and improve financial processes
Requirements
Essential
- Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel and Google Sheets
- Working knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable communicating complex financial modelling logic to those from non-finance/modelling backgrounds
- Proactive, strong attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities
- Ability to interact effectively and build relationships with senior management
Desirable
- 3-5 years experience in Finance / Fintech / Tech / SaaS industry
- Experience using accounting and FP&A systems (i.e. Workday Adaptive Planning / Anaplan / Pigment)
- Experience working with senior stakeholders
