Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Tax Manager will drive the management of the company’s tax affairs globally covering the UK, APAC, EMEA and North/South America. This role will work with finance and non-finance teams with support from external tax advisors to implement tax planning and compliance considering the future strategy of the group, group tax policy and local regulations. This role will play an integral part in scaling the tax processes and procedures of a fast growth business. Duties
- Lead the group’s international tax strategy to support the expansion of a fast growth business
- Work closely with the finance, sales, legal and other teams to ensure that tax implications and risks of business activities are understood and controlled
- Develop tax policies and procedures and own the implementation across the group
- Key contact for UK and international tax authorities and auditors
- Support the assessment and maintenance of group transfer pricing policy and ensure it is fit for purpose for all locations globally and documentation is maintained and kept up to date
- Own the annual corporation tax reporting and tax returns, as well as monthly or quarterly indirect tax reporting with support from accounting teams
- Support the Group Financial Controller in the review of group tax position, group structure and implementation of actions to manage the tax risks of the group
- Support or lead ad hoc projects as the team and business expands internationally
